Corsets and Sex

Corsets have gained respectability in the last few years, finding their way onto the glossy magazine fashion pages but it shouldn't be forgotten that a corset has all sorts of erotic uses too! Partners can help with the putting on - they'll enjoy transforming your figure and being laced into a corset can be an exquisitely sensual experience; the laces slide across your back as they are pulled gradually in from the top and bottom towards the middle, and the sensation is of being embraced tighter and tighter.
Wearing a corset can help get you both into the right mood - corsets enhance any woman's body, giving not just a smaller waist, but fuller breast and hips which swell out provocatively. The sexual parts are very much on display, which gives a feeling of intense femininity.
Once you've pulled the laces in, you don't have to settle for tying them in a bow - make the most of the length if you are into tying each other up. There is also a lot of scope for domination games; apart from the bondage angle, there is nothing like lacing someone tightly to emphasise your control over them and the long loops can be used to lead the wearer around.
The other advantage of wearing a corset for sex is that you don't have to take it off at the critical moment - all the important bits are still uncovered. If you feel like indulging in a spot of fantasy, a corset is a great inspiration, fitting into all sorts of scenarios; wear it with long cotton bloomers and transform yourself into a Victorian maid, tavern wench or southern belle; wear it with a long skirt and a feather boa for a glamorous film star look; or team it with a G-string, stockings and suspenders and become a hooker for the night - restricting your waist needn't restrict your imagination!

Women and Corsets

THERE IS no doubt about it, the corset is firmly back in fashion; from couture catwalks to High Street shops, this season's look in dresses, suits and evening wear is a nipped-in waist with bosom and hips proudly on display. And for those not blessed with a natural hour glass silhouette, the quickest way to get that look is to suck in and lace up.
Maybe it's a reaction against years of androgynous skimpy underwear, but now we are buying lingerie which really does something for our figures and emphasises our femininity. Let's face it, singlets and briefs might be practical, but they are not very sexy; and with a corset, even the flattest chested can enjoy instant curves.
The 21st century corsetted woman may feel in control of her 19th century style figure and sexuality, in a way her Victorian counterparts never could, but watch out - you may be sending a stronger message than you realise.
Some scientists now believe that the most powerful human sexual trigger is the female waist. In experiments in the USA, men rated as most attractive (sexually and for childbearing) women of average weight with curves, which meant waists 24 to 28 inches with 36 inch hips or waists 27 to 31 inches with 40 inch hips.
Interestingly, this ratio is now recognised as a key indicator of health and is also linked to fertility, as oestrogen, the female sex hormone, concentrates fat on buttocks, while testosterone, the male hormone, builds fat around waist.
So by wearing a garment which emphasises your waist you are actually sending men a powerful subconscious message which says, "I'm young, female, healthy, and ready to mate with you and have your baby." So use it carefully!

Wearing a Corset

A PROPER corset is completely different from a basque or waspie, neither of which are designed to pull in the waist. The real thing comes in two halves, laced together at the back and fastening at the front with a steel busk, with springy spirals in the lining all the way round to give that wonderful hour glass shape (whalebone has not been used for many years).
All this metal may sound cumbersome, but don't let it put you off. Today's styles are light and flexible and surprisingly comfortable. Many people find the sensation of being gently held straight with the back supported almost relaxing.
Being laced into a corset can be an exquisitely sensual experience; the laces slide across your back as they are pulled gradually in from the top and bottom towards the middle, and the sensation is of being embraced tighter and tighter. You don't have to pull in to a Scarlet O'Hara 18 inches - you may be content with the corset just hugging you or you can lace down to an iron grip. When you order, giving your own measurements, we select the best size for you to ensure a snug fit all over. A corset should mould itself to your body after you have worn it a few times and you can gradually lace a bit tighter if you wish.
First time wearers are usually surprised and delighted when they look in the mirror; corsets enhance any woman's body, giving not just a smaller waist, but the impression of fuller breasts and hips, giving a feeling of intense femininity.
